“Love that chicken from Popeyes” is the Louisiana Popeyes restaurant’s slogan. They are famously known for their fried chicken, but their Sweet Heat Sauce is my only go-to dipping sauce.
The sauce is sweet with a hint of heat. I have used it several times in meat dishes and stir fry vegetables. The sauce reminds me of sweet and sour sauce with a hint of spice. This makes it ideal for injecting flavor into bland vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, asparagus, and cabbage.
