Cocca dotts Sweet Treats

Coccadotts Bake Shop   located in Fortlauderdale Florida, is a winner of  The Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” contest.

The bakery showcases a number of sweet treats that will satisfy your sweet cravings.

Coccadotts are well  known for their different types of flavored cupcakes.

My Favorite Sweet Treats.

Two of  my favorite cupcakes are their Red Velvet and Lemon.

The decorative spin on their baked products allures and captivates yours senses; you will want to purchase them all.

Mia's Brooklyn Bakery Sweet Treats

Mia's Brooklyn Bakery is one of Brooklyn's top bakeries that offers more upscale sweet treats selections ranging from cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, and cookies. They make the most intricately decorated wedding and birthday cakes. The bakery believes that "Good dessert gives immense happiness"

LORDS BAKERY SWEET TREATS.

Lord's Bakery and Photo Cakes is one of the top bakeries in Brooklyn that showcases a wide selection of sweet treats that you must try. They are famous for birthday cakes, particularly the photo cakes. But for me, it was their Pecan Pie that got me hooked to this bakery. I tried almost everyone of their baked products and below are a few of their sweet treats I recommend.

Pecan Pie Sweetness Goodness

I have had pecan pies from several bakeries and restaurants and I am yet to find any other pecan pie that can beat the sweet goodness of Lords Bakery’s Pecan Pie.

The filling is so gluey and sweet and balances with the perfect flaky pie crust.

If you do not want to purchase a whole pie, you can opt for their mini version, Pecan Tarts; they are just as goodilicious.

Exotic Cheese cakes and pastries

Not only is Lord bakery known for their cakes and my favorite Pecan Pie, but they also sell cheesecakes, cookies, and pastries.

Their red velvet cheesecakes are very unique in flavor and texture. But the Pumpkin Cheese Cake is a seasonal selection that is offered around Thanksgiving.

The pumpkin cheesecake is one of the most unique cheesecake I have come across to date. The texture is firm, but very moist and the decorative cream cheese icing and pumpkin crumb, add another level of flavor and texture that dances on your taste buds.

Birthdays & Events

Having a birthday or a celebration event and need a personalized cake? Then Lords Bakery is the place to visit.

You can have any photo printed onto a  cake of your choice.

Lords bakery

The bakery is located in the Flatbush Junction area of Brooklyn NYC. To date, Lords Bakery is the only bakery in this area that solely specializes in baked products.

Trinidad Golden Place Restaurant and Bakery.

Trinidad Golden Place Restaurant and Bakery  specializes in Trinidad/Chinese menus items.

However, I do not visit this Nostrand Avenue Restaurant for their Trinidad foods, but for the vast array of sweet treats the bakery offers.

My Favorite Sweet Treat

They are well known for their current roll. However, my favorite sweet treat is their coconut roll.

Other Sweet Threats

Other sweet treats sold include : Cassava Pone, Bread Pudding, Coconut Drops, Raisin Bun, Butter Bread,  carrot cake, milk biscuits, just to name a few.

Mongolia Bakery  is another bakery gem in NYC. There are 5 known locations in NYC, but at the 34th Street Penn Station location, waiting for at least 20 minutes online for their sweet treats is not uncommon.

The Cheesecakes are to die for. Their products are more high end and are therefore more expensive.

Junior's Bakery Cheese Cake.

Junior’s Restaurant is one of New York City’s most iconic restaurant and bar. But they are famously known for their different varieties of cheesecakes.

My Favorite Sweet Treat

I have tried  all their different flavored cheesecakes, but my new favorite is the Blackberry Cheesecake. It has a very unique fruity flavor, similar to the black forest cake.

Cheesecakes are available in slices or mini sizes. In addition to cheesecakes, other sweet treats available are: cup cakes, coconut pineapple cakes, muffins, cookies and pastries.

If you are looking a place to have a nice dinner, a drink, and a rich slice of cheese cake, then Junior’s is the your one stop shop restaurant.

Whole Foods Market and Bakery

When you think of supermarkets, you usually do not think about a bakery. But Whole Foods Market is one of those grocery stores that provides you with a one-stop-shop. In addition to a bakery, the 3rd street location in Brooklyn also offers a buffet-style menu on the ground floor and a dining area on the top floor where you can sit and eat or order a meal with wine from the restaurant and bar. The bakery offers a wide selection of sweet treats and loaves of different types of bread. The supermarket carries several brands of baked products that you will enjoy. Below are just a few of the many sweet treats they offer.

The Cheese Cake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory   is another casual upscale restaurant with an extensive cheesecake sweet treats.

I personally prefer their cheesecakes over Junior’s. They have more non-traditional  flavored cheesecakes such as   The Cinnabon Cinnamon Caramel Swirl   and the The Adams Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple Cheesecake.
